Congratulations to the Class of 2017 ENST minors!

Introducing Rice University’s 2017 Environmental Studies (ENST) program graduates!

CENHS is proud to announce that Rice’s Environmental Studies minor program has six new graduates! Please join us in congratulating (left to right above) Meredith Glaubach, Jake Krauss, Lauren Howe-Kerr, Kevin Pisters and Veronica Johnson. Missing from the photo is Josh Morse, who also graduated this weekend.

Lauren will be staying with us at Rice and beginning her PhD research in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in Fall under the supervision of Dr. Adrienne Correa with a special focus on coral microbiology. Jake is in the process of applying to graduate schools and is meanwhile, with the help of a Wagoner Fellowship, doing research in Peru on the mating behavior of the cock-of-the- rock (Rupicola peruviana). Josh will be joining the University of Utah and Huntsman Cancer Institute next year as a MD/PhD student. Starting in August, Veronica will be serving for two years as an Environmental Education Primary Teacher in Nicaragua with the Peace Corps.

So very proud of this, our second cohort of ENST minors! Wishing them the very best from ground control!
