Electronic Book Review’s “Critical Ecologies”
The “Critical Ecologies” section of the theory and criticism site “Electronic Book Review” (http://www.electronicbookreview.com/) has been publishing reviews of research in the environmental humanities since 1996. Dr. Cary Wolfe (professor of English at Rice) and Dr. Joseph Tabbi started the ecology thread in 1996. Dr. Andrew McMurry edited the thread from 2006-7, and Dr. Stacy Alaimo is the current editor. “Critical ecologies” is a rich source of commentary on recent work at the boundaries of the humanities and the natural sciences, with a particular focus on questions of human/nonhuman relationship, environmental discourse, ecological literature and art.
