Liberate Tate is on tour! This October we will be sharing our experience of successfully removing the oil sponsor BP from the Tate galleries with artists, activists, cultural allies, friends and publics in New York, Washington DC, New Orleans and Houston.

Through these events we will share the strategies, tactics and experiences of making unsanctioned Live Art in the Tate galleries for the past six years, and explore how we operated both inside and outside the gallery to shift power and transform perceptions. And journeying (by train) through the capitals of oil, art and power in the US, we will explore creative strategies for our upcoming artworks.

Other events in New York, DC and New Orleans –
