This year marks the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Japan.
To remember and lest we forget this dark chapter in history, Rice University’s Humanities Research Center, The Asia Society, and The TMC Library together are hosting a 3-day conference to draw attention to the ongoing cooperative efforts by Japanese and American scientists, historians, and archivists to preserve and disseminate this important history.
This international conference will present nationally and internationally renowned speakers, a documentary filmmaker and film, and a healing reconciliation service.
On November 20th, at 2:00 – 3:00 pm, the Center for Spirituality and Health will hold a reconciliation service in Weber Plaza. (First floor Lobby of the TMC Library if rain).
