CENHS has helped found a transnational network devoted to cultivating innovative research on energy and environment issues across the human sciences. The network partners are particularly interested in developing projects related to the energy/climate nexus, to energy development and communities, to environmental change and health, to how models of energy and environmental futures are made and mediated, and to questions of energy sovereignty and ecological sustainability. Since all these research areas engage multi-scalar processes and dynamics and impact life across the world, we believe that a transnational research network is the optimal medium through which to pursue them, building upon different institutions’ and researchers’ specialized expertise to form compelling broader analyses and change paradigms.

If you represent a research center or group that would like to join our network please contact the CENHS Director (dcb2@rice.edu) or one of our corresponding members below for more information.
