Tim Morton’s talk at the Rice English Symposium

Thanks to Rodrigo Martini Paula and Larry Butz for organizing a great symposium, and also to the participants for their excellent papers. It was content-rich meeting that also led to some new friendships.

Below I’ve included a link to Tim Morton’s talk on environmentality, “Mal-Functioning.” Claire Colebrook also gave an excellent keynote entitled “Sex and the Anthropocene City,” but it was not recorded. Thanks to Morton and Colebrook for their contributions to symposium.

If you imagine Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun” video playing over and over as you listen, you’ll be closer to the actual mise en scene.
